Next, press CALCULATE to see the encounter XP thresholds for the party. For example, if you have four first-level characters, type 4 in number, and 1 in level. If you have three seventh-level characters and one eighth-level, type 3 in number, 7 in level, add a second row, and add 1 in number and 8 in level. The three most common coins are the gold piece (gp), the silver piece (sp), and the copper piece (cp). With one gold piece, a character can buy a bedroll, 50 feet of good rope, or a goat. A skilled (but not exceptional) artisan can earn one gold piece a day. The gold piece is the standard unit of measure for wealth. Limiting yourself to things in the PHB and DMG, here are a few fun ones:. Spend 100 gp silvering your weapons. Spend 200 gp buying an elephant, or 400 gp on a warhorse. Buy barding for your horse, 4x the price of regular armor. Buy a ship (rowboat 50 gp, keelboat 3000 gp, etc.). Do not round, but rather track half points. Using the slow progression option does not halve the gold received for gaining a new level. Converting Your Current Experience. To determine the number of Advancement Checkpoints your characters currently has, follow these simple steps.

Description
Unlike the sield dwarves, the gold dwarves maintained their great kingdom in the Great Rift and did not decline in terrible wars against evil humanoids. While they practiced some magic, they never acquired the hubris that caused the downfall of some human nations. Confident and secure in their remote home, the gold dwarves gained a reputation for haughtiness and pride.
Since the Thunder Blessing, many young gold dwarves have left the Great Rift and are exploring the rest of Faer没n. The folk of other lands have learned that while some gold dwarves are aloof and suspicious, for the most part they are forthright warriors and shrewd traders.
Regions
The ancestral home of the gold dwarves is the Great Rift, located in the dry plains of the Shaar. Gold dwarven outposts can also be found in the Smoking Mountains of Unther and in the Giant's Run Mountains west of the Vilhon Reach. The gold dwarf entry on Table 1-4: Character Regions (FRCS, p. 30) describes characters raised in the Rift.
Religion
Unlike statet in the Player's Handbook, characters in the Forgotten Realms almost always have a patron deity. See FRCS p. 39 for more details.
Combat
Racial Traits
Gold dwarves have all the dwarven racial traits given in Chapter 2 of the Player's Handbook (pp. 14) except as follows:
- +2 Constitution, -2 Dexterity (see above): Gold dwarves are stout and tough, but not as quick or agile as other races.
- +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against aberrations: Gold dwarves are trained in special combat techniques against the many bizarre creatures that live in the Underdark. (This replaces the attack bonus against orcs and goblinoids.)
- Automatic and bonus languages as listed above.

Coins
The most common coin is the gold piece (gp). A gold piece is worth 10 silver pieces. Each silver piece is worth 10 copper pieces (cp). In addition to copper, silver, and gold coins, there are also platinum pieces (pp), which are each worth 10 gp.
The standard coin weighs about a third of an ounce (fifty to the pound).

Selling Loot

In general, a character can sell something for half its listed price.
Trade goods are the exception to the half-price rule. A trade good, in this sense, is a valuable good that can be easily exchanged almost as if it were cash itself.

Area Damage, AD, (originally called 'Splash Damage') is a 20% chance of all attacks dealing X% damage to other enemies within 10 yards. It's basically free damage dealt to other nearby targets, and it can add up to considerable damage, since it procs from every target. For instance, an attack that hits five enemies in close proximity means that all 5 will Area Damage check on each of the other. Area Damage is an attribute in Diablo III that can be found on weapons, off-hand items, rings, amulets and shoulderpads. All slots except weapons roll up to 20%, while weapons can have up to 24% each. https://yhxfxh.weebly.com/diablo-3-area-dmg.html. Mar 12, 2014 Area damage numbers don't always match the math Occasionally you might see something like a 3,000,000 crit followed by something like 1,650,000 area damage. If you are running 50% AD like in most of my tests, this is a bit confusing. I've figured it out though. The AD number shown is the sum of all area damage procs from that spell.
